Cod filet with almonds and small new potatoes
Ingredients
- 600 g cod fillets
- flour
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp flour
- 2 dl white wine
- salt
- 2 tsp paprika
- freshly ground pepper
- 2 tbsp capers
- juice and zest of 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp oil
- 50 g almonds, finely chopped
- 500 g small new potatoes
- 500 g carrots
Preparation
Cut the cod fillets into equal-sized pieces.
Sprinkle some flour onto a plate an coat the fish with the flour.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the fish in it until golden brown. Take the pieces of fish out of the pan, put them on a dish and keep them warm.
Fry the onion until brown in the remaining oil. Then mix in the flour and add the wine little by little.
Add a little salt, pepper and paprika. Then stir in the almonds, capers and a few drops of lemon juice.
Cook the carrots and the new potatoes in the meantime.
Pour the sauce over the fish.
