Cashew clafoutis with cherries

Ingredients

  • 250 g cherries (fresh or from a jar)
  • butter for greasing the flan dish
  • 80 g flour
  • 20 g powdered sugar
  • 1 dl semi-skimmed milk
  • 1 egg
  • 75 g unsalted cashew nuts, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp caster sugar

Preparation

Preheat the oven at 180 ºC. Grease a flan dish (approx. 20 cm diameter).

If necessary, stone the cherries. Beat the flour, powdered sugar, milk and the egg into a smooth batter. Finally, add the cashew nuts.

Pour the batter into the flan dish. Distribute the cherries over the mixture and sprinkle it with the caster sugar.

Bake the clafoutis in the oven in approx. 25 min.

Serve hot.
